Founder Greg Wood, an articulate securities expert, combines 35 years as a securities industry professional with over four years of litigation consulting to help clients succeed in arbitration or court.
Greg Wood
In 1969, Greg Wood started in the securities business. He completed a six-month training program in the securities industry, which launched a 35 yearlong career in investments.
Over the years, he systematically moved through the ranks of the financial services industry. He was a retail investment broker, a commodities exchange member, a commodities futures analyst, a securities firm branch manager, the director of regional training for the southwest region of the US and the executive director of a corporate synergy project. He also held positions as the executive vice president in charge of the retail group for a regional brokerage firm as well as a senior vice president for a bank brokerage operation.
In 2002, Greg made the decision to eventually leave corporate life and establish a securities litigation consulting business. He began the process of becoming a NASD (FINRA) arbitrator and a trained panel chairperson. He was also trained by the ADR section of the Utah State Bar Association and became a Utah Court Recognized Mediator. Soon after, he became a NASD (FINRA) Mediator.

In March 2004, Greg resigned from his banking position, where he was supervising registered representatives across a state, and founded Securities Litigation Support, LLC. Between then and early 2008, over 50 attorneys located nationally retained SLS in more than 125 matters. Greg has written more than 50 expert reports and has testified more than 25 times.
Attorneys representing both the complaining client (Claimant) and the brokerage firm (Respondent) retain Greg, giving him a unique and unbiased perspective when he analyzes the case facts and discovery, writes reports and offers expert testimony.
