Suitability is determined at the time of sale. Whether you represent the Claimants or the Respondents, analyzing the suitability of a portfolio can be a challenge that is critical to your case success. In matters where a suitability violation is alleged, having a portfolio report and individual issue reports contemporaneously dated with the violation can prove or disprove an alleged action.
We use specialized analysis tools to prepare reports on equities portfolios. These reports combined with our training and experience provides the basis for a complete written portfolio analysis and suitability determination. Further, we have software available from 1999 forward, which allows us to prepare a review using data dated close to the time of initial sale.
Securities Litigation Support can:
- Analyze a portfolio.
- Prepare a suitability report on that portfolio.
- Testify in arbitration, mediation or court regarding our findings.
The sample report that follows was prepared on 2003 software. Morningstar Principia software is available from 1999 to the current date for the preparation of contemporaneous reports.
